Nigerian music star Mr Eazi and actress-media personality Temi Otedola are expecting their first child together, months after their lavish multi-country wedding celebrations.
The celebrity couple announced the pregnancy on Thursday through a joint Instagram post featuring maternity photographs that quickly sparked excitement across social media.
Temi accompanied the announcement with a Bible verse, writing: “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, Before you were born I set you apart,” a message that drew congratulatory reactions from fans, celebrities and public figures.
The announcement comes after months of speculation about the couple possibly welcoming a child earlier this year, rumours Mr Eazi had publicly dismissed at the time with a humorous response on social media.
Mr Eazi, born Oluwatosin Ajibade, and Temi, daughter of billionaire businessman Femi Otedola, have remained one of Nigeria’s most high-profile celebrity couples since their relationship became public in 2017.
The pair got engaged in 2022 before officially tying the knot in 2025 through a series of ceremonies held in Monaco, Dubai and Iceland.
Temi, known for her acting roles in Nollywood productions and fashion influence online, has also co-hosted the “How Far?” podcast alongside her husband.
Meanwhile, Mr Eazi has built a successful career as an Afrobeats singer, entrepreneur and founder of emPawa Africa.
