AnambraDecide2017: Obiano Defeats APC And PDP, Secures Second Term

Incumbent Governor of Anambra State, Mr Willie Obiano has been announced winner of the just concluded governorship election in the State after defeating his close rivals with a wide margin.

According to the results released officially by the Independent National Electoral Commission, Governor Obiano with his party, the All Progressive Grand Alliance pulled a total of 234,071 votes at the November 18th gubernatorial election.

Coming from behind is the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Mr Tony Nwoye who gathered 98,752 votes, as the Mr Oseloka Obaze of the People’s Democratic Party pulled a total of &0,593 votes.
