Eko Boys High School Fumble As King’s College And F.S.T College Shine At Saint Finbarrs Inter House Sports

Giants of mushin, Eko Boys Senior High school failed to make a podium appreciate when they made the short trip to Akoka on Saturday, 18th November 2017 to celebrate with St Finbarrs College as they hosted their Inter House Sports.

The home grown athlete of “St finbarrs college took to the school’s Sports centre to showcase what they’ve got. The event started at 12 noon with four houses battling for the bragging rights in the 100m,200m,400m, 1500m and 4x100m relay races for both the male and female categories.

Of course, the event wore a new and more glamorous look when it was the turn of the Invited Schools to go head to head with Eko Boys Senior High School, Baptist Academy, F.S.T College, Kings College, Queens College Methodist Boys High School and other First generation and New Generations in attendance.

The track Kings from Kings’ College came first in their heat to qualify for the final race which involved other First generation school. Giants of mushin,”Eko boys Senior High school ably represented by their track boys, Chibozor Chukudubelum, Sikiru, Solomon Enogun and Fatokun Oluwatosin struggled against the fitness and athleticism of the senior boys. They gave all but to no avail.

The Chairman of the LAFGEHCA games, Mr Lucas appreciated Eko Boys for Coming and advised that with more outings The sleeping giants of Mushin will wake up from their slumber.

The female category was won by “F.S.T college respectively.
