As his team prepares to host the UEFA Champions League defending champion, Chelsea, Malmo’s Coach, Jon Dahl Tomasson, hopes to get strong support from the fans while his team seek to make good out of the return leg.

The Swedish club currently sat at the bottom table of Group H with no point in view. Having suffered a third defeat of the tournament in the hand of Chelsea, Tomasson remains hopeful of putting on a great show in the return leg.

The club has conceded 11 goals in the tournament so far and are yet to make a mark on the score sheet.

Meanwhile, with 22,500 fans expected to flood Eleda Stadion, Tomasson is hopeful on his team turning up to the party.

“I think it’s the first time in more than two years we have a full stadium in a European night.” He said.

“We want to see a team playing for our supporters with everything, with this great spirit they showed the other day in Sirius” (a 3-2 league win), he added.

However, the coach admitted the strength of Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea team.

“We are playing against a very good side, probably one of the best but we go on the pitch to get a good result,” the former Newcastle forward said at his pre-match press conference on Monday, via The Independent.

We are involved in this party playing Champions League and we want to be part of the party.” He said during pre-match press conference.

Meanwhile, Chelsea will be without some of their key players for the Tuesday match. Romelu Lukaku, Thomas Werner, and Mason Mount are all out of the coming fixture.

Chelsea will hope to repeat the same feat they achieved during the first leg, having lost both Lukaku and Werner in the first leg. But they still won the match.
