A devastating car accident has claimed the life of Dr Ayasen Kemeakigha, the Dean of Student Affairs at Niger Delta University, Amadoma, in Bayelsa State.
According to Vanguard, the Dean was reportedly found burnt to death in a lone accident which occurred on the Tombio-Amassoma Highway before help occurred.
Confirming the incident, the Bayelsa Police Spokesman, SP Asinim Butswat stated that the victim who was driving a Toyota Corolla was found by policemen burnt to death.
“On Jan. 21 policemen responded to a scene of a lone fatal car accident along Tombia-Amassoma Road, Bayelsa, and discovered that the only occupant in the vehicle, a Toyota Corolla was burnt to death.
“The corpse has been evacuated to the morgue. The investigation is ongoing,’’ Butswat said.
