Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has issued a stern warning to cultists in Sagamu and its environs.
He has ordered security agencies to take decisive action against cultists and cult-related activities in the state.
This was following the recent clash which occured in Ijagba Sagamu area of Ogun State on Sunday night, claiming about four lives.
Governor Abiodun emphasized that the state government is determined to swiftly put an end to the nefarious activities of these hoodlums and enemies of the people.
He assured that the state will become too hot for them to operate, as the security architecture is being reevaluated to enhance surveillance and tactical operations.
He said, ‘new security approach would be implemented in collaboration with the traditional institution, community and religious leaders, youth groups as well as other critical stakeholders.”
He therefore called on the people to provide relevant information to security agents promptly to prevent future occurrences.
