Grammy-winning Nigerian singer Damini Ogulu popularly known as Burna Boy, has stirred mixed reactions online after bragging about being the highest-paid African artiste in history.
In a post shared on the microblogging platform Twitter on Saturday, Burna Boy claimed that the truth is that money doesn’t satisfy him. This, however, doesn’t change the fact that he is the highest-paid artist in the history of African music, and people can choose to believe it or not.
The self-styled ‘African Giant’ wrote, “I said money doesn’t satisfy me and it’s my Truth but it Doesn’t change the fact that I’m the highest-paid artist in the History of African music. Believe it or not.”

However, this brag has earned Burna Boy some criticisms as social media users questioned if anyone was arguing with him about being the highest-paid artiste. Other netizens also urged him to provide proof of the claim.
