Organizers vow to punish Kizz Daniel for failing to perform at concert

The organizers of the Summer Amplified Concert in Tanzania, Big Step Consultancy has broken silence over the failure of Nigerian singer, Kizz Daniel to perform at the show on Sunday.

It would be recalled that the ‘Buga’ crooner had come under fire following his refusal to thrill the audience as planned. Fans had angrily thrashed the concert venue, as seen in videos which surfaced on social media.

But in a statement on Monday signed its Operations Manager, Marilynn Mutendera, Big Step Consultancy tendered a public apology to the affected fans, assuring them that it would take necessary actions against the Nigerian singer.

“We would like to assure the entire public and fans who paid and showed up for the event that we are doing all we can to ensure that appropriate measures are being taken to make sure that everyone involved is held accountable and our customers and fans are taken care of and we kindly request your patience as we deal with this,” the statement read in part.

“Any inconvenience caused is sincerely regretted and we assure you that BIG STEP will continuously strive to deliver great event experiences in the future to all our customers. More details will be shared.

“Thank you for your understanding & tremendous support. We shall communicate future steps as soon as we can.”

BlackBox Nigeria had reported that Kizz Daniel has been arrested by the Tanzania police. In one of the videos now trending on Twitter, the Nigerian singer was seen being led into a police vehicle.

In July, the award-winning musician was dragged by fans after he stood them up for hours at his concert in the United States.
