By Nollywood actress, Ufuoma McDermott has been basking in an euphoria of joy and happiness in celebration of the 12th year anniversary since she walked down the aisle with her English beau, Steve.
For the McDermotts, it’s been a blissful marital ride. The couple who tied the knot in 2012 are blessed with two children.
To mark the special occasion, the actress and former model took to her Instagram page on Sunday to pen a heart-melting message alongside a beautiful video capturing her marital journey.
While describing marriage as beautiful albeit without trying times, McDermott noted that it takes two people to make a union work without paying attention to the words of detractors.
She wrote, “Marriage is beautiful.
“You have to smile more than you cry. And yes, you’ll cry.
“It can NEVER work without self-love. Two broken people come together to manage each other’s bullshxt. No let one person tell you say his/her bullshxt is better than yours and your own bullshxt need beating. Na lie!
