The Head of service stated that the approval, as contained in a circular issued on Thursday, 30, with reference number CIR/HOS/’20/VOL.1/046, was in response to the directive by President Muhammadu Buhari, that the existing lockdown in Lagos State should be eased gradually.

In addition, the head of state instructed all directors of administration and human resource to ensure that the entire office environment is disinfected and kept clean always.

“officers in need of medical assistance should do so via consultation through telephone of online, in order to reduce visits to the staff clinic and hospitals.

“all public servants must abide by the 8pm-6am curfew pronounced by the governor, the secretariat will remain closed to members of the public and non-staff who are advised to conduct their affairs through other channels such as telephone, emails and online platforms.
