Afrobeats superstar Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has sparked reactions on social media following a viral video showing him celebrating veteran Fuji musician Adewale Ayuba during a live performance.
The video, shared on X by user #1BENNY7G on Monday, captured the Grammy-winning singer spraying dollar notes on Ayuba as the Fuji icon entertained guests and praised Burna Boy’s achievements in the music industry.
While performing, Ayuba commended Burna Boy for elevating Nigerian music on the global stage and applauded his international success. Burna Boy, visibly excited, continued spraying the veteran singer with dollar bills as the audience cheered.
The clip has since generated widespread attention online, with many fans describing the moment as a show of respect and appreciation between artistes from different generations of Nigerian music.
This is not the first time Burna Boy has publicly celebrated Fuji musicians. In March, the singer was also seen spraying dollar notes on Fuji legend Wasiu Ayinde, popularly known as K1 De Ultimate, during a performance at a restaurant in Lagos.
