Alao-Akala’s son, wife welcome twins after 8 years of marriage

Olamijuwonlo, the son of former Oyo State governor, Adebayo Alao-Akala, has welcomed a set of twins with his wife, Hadiza Raisa Okoya, eight years after they got married.

The excited mother — who is the daughter of celebrated entrepreneur Chief Rasaq Okoya — announced the arrival of the newborns with an emotional note on her Instagram page on Thursday.

Narrating her journey into motherhood which started in 2014, Hadiza revealed that she underwent In vitro fertilisation (IVF) 14 times and suffered multiple miscarriages.

She wrote, “It’s time to tell my story.

“It started in November 2014. Innocent naive and very hopeful, little did I know what was in front of me. God all can say is thank you.

“After 14 IVFs, multiple miscarriages including 24 weekers boy/girl twins and 17 weekers identical triplet girls. Today I celebrate the birth of my full-term babies. Look at God. I have a story, I’ll tell you in detail soon.”

Olamijuwonlo and Hadiza tied the knot in April 2014. Their lavish wedding ceremony was the talk of the town and had in attendance distinguished personalities.
