12 years after prolonged battle for AGN, Emeka Ike and Ibinabo Fiberesima finally make peace
After over a decade of war over the soul of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, major actors Ibinabo Fiberesima and Emeka Ike have finally embraced peace. In a surprising turn of events, the two veteran actors days ago finally agreed to a peace accord putting to an end over 12 years of infighting in the apex actors association.
BlackBox Nigeria further gathered that the camps of both AGN leaders were also present at the 2017 Peace and Reconciliation Conference that held last Tuesday in Enugu. At the conference, leaders of the AGN agreed to form an interim Government of National Unity to run the affairs of the Guild pending the time a National election will be held.
It was further learnt that the summit further elected veteran actor, Emeka Rollas to head the GNU for the next two years. Rollas who is from the Ibinabo camp defeated Emeka Ike who insisted on standing again in an overwhelming victory.
It is hoped that the 12 years of crisis that rocked the AGN has finally come to an end.
