GingerUp Nigeria Launches N300 GINJASHOT PLUS Sachet Wellness Drink for Everyday Nigerians

GingerUp Nigeria, the producer of GingerUp and GingerShot, has introduced GINJASHOT PLUS, a new all natural wellness ginger shot packaged in sachet format to make healthy living more affordable and accessible for Nigerians.

In an exclusive conversation with BlackBox Nigeria, a source explained that the company deliberately introduced the sachet packaging to reach more consumers across different income levels while maintaining the product’s natural formulation and wellness benefits.

According to the company, GinjaShot PLUS combines ginger, turmeric, garlic, lime, lemon, and honey into a concentrated wellness shot designed to support immunity, aid digestion, provide natural energy, and promote overall wellbeing.

The product delivers a bold spicy, tangy, and slightly bitter taste with a warming after effect, a flavor profile the company says reflects the potency of its natural ingredients.

Speaking further with BlackBox Nigeria, the producer disclosed that the sachet has a recommended retail price of N300, which will be clearly printed on the packaging to help consumers avoid inflated market prices.

“The sachet will retail for N300, and we decided to print the price directly on the pack after challenges we experienced with our bottled products. This is part of our effort to ensure consumers are not overcharged by retailers,” the producer told BlackBox Nigeria.

Unlike regular sugary drinks, GinjaShot Plus is positioned as a practical daily wellness shot targeted at busy professionals, fitness enthusiasts, health conscious individuals, and Nigerians looking for natural alternatives.

The producer also highlighted the convenience of the sachet format, noting that consumers can easily carry the product for use at work, during travel, after exercise, or as part of a daily routine.

The company recommends taking the shot chilled, preferably in the morning or before meals.

The launch campaign also reflects relatable Nigerian street culture and everyday language.

“You won taste am? That tingling, bitter, peppery kick wey dey wake body. No be soft drink. Na real GinjaShot Plus wey dey reset system,” the brand stated in promotional material shared with BlackBox Nigeria.

“One shot. Two shots. Every day sip. If e no pepper small, e never work.”

Industry observers say the launch of smaller wellness packs at controlled price points may help natural health drinks gain stronger acceptance among younger consumers and low to middle income earners across Nigeria.

For GingerUp Nigeria, the launch of GINJA SHOT PLUS represents another step in building locally driven wellness products tailored for the Nigerian market.
