Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to return to the United Kingdom with their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, next month, marking the family’s first joint visit to Britain in four years.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are expected to travel to the UK in July alongside their two children, who have not visited the country since June 2022, when the family attended celebrations marking the late Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee.

The planned trip is expected to coincide with events marking the one-year countdown to the Invictus Games Birmingham 2027, a sporting competition for wounded and injured military personnel founded by Prince Harry. Reports indicate the Sussexes have traditionally participated in “one year to go” activities linked to the Games.

Harry and Meghan stepped back from their roles as senior members of the British royal family in 2020 and relocated to North America, eventually settling in California. Since then, the couple have made only limited visits to the UK, with security concerns frequently cited as a major factor behind their absence.

The upcoming visit has sparked renewed speculation about a possible reunion between Prince Harry and his father, King Charles III. Several reports suggest the monarch is eager to see his grandchildren and has extended an invitation for the family to stay at a royal residence during their visit.

However, it remains unclear whether formal meetings with senior members of the royal family have been arranged. While relations between Harry and King Charles are believed to have improved in recent months, reports indicate that tensions between the Duke of Sussex and his elder brother, Prince William, remain unresolved.

The visit would represent a significant milestone for the Sussex family, particularly for Archie and Lilibet, who have spent most of their lives in the United States since their parents’ departure from royal duties.

Neither Buckingham Palace nor representatives for the Sussexes have publicly confirmed the travel plans.
