Trouble Looms for Obaseki as Court restrains him from participating in PDP primaries

For Gov. Godwin Obaseki, it is not yet uhuru for the governor of Edo state, Godwin Obaseki as a Federal High Court in Port Harcourt has granted an order restraining him from participating the primary election of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP scheduled to hold on Thurday, 25th June.
In a Motion Exparte filed by one of the PDP aspirants, Omoregie Ogbeide-Ihama, the court ordered the PDP, INEC, the screening committee members to restrain the governor from participating in the election pending the hearing and determination of the motion on notice for interlocutory injunction.
The order was given on the 22nd of June by Justice E.A. Obile of the Federal High Court in Port Harcourt.
Gov. Obaseki defected to the PDP hope to be the party’s flag bearer in the coming gubernatorial election.
