Tragic News: Nigerian Rapper Oladips Passes Away at 28

In a heart-wrenching turn of events, the entertainment industry has been thrown into mourning following the death of rapper Oladipupo Oladimeji, popularly known as Oladips.

The management team of the talented artist confirmed his untimely demise, on Wednesday, leaving fans and fellow musicians in shock and grief.

The statement read, “We are saddened to inform the general public that Oladipupo Olabode Oladimeji aka OLADIPS has passed away yesterday Nov’14th Tuesday evening,at exactly 10:14pm. We are still in shock as we speak!

“For over 2 years he has kept his battles within himself,his body is now with his family & funeral services will be announced as soon as it is concluded!

“The family asked that we respect their privacy in this trying time. May God give us all the fortitude to bear this great loss.(amen)”

Oladips, a street-hop sensation, had carved a niche for himself in the Nigerian music scene. His lyrical prowess and raw authenticity endeared him to fans across the country.

However, his journey was not without struggles. The rapper faced numerous challenges, both professionally and personally, which stirred emotions among those who followed his career.

In a post on his Instagram page on Tuesday, the deceased called on his Personal Assistant, Abdulrasheed, @onlyonelifetime_, to quickly get in touch with him as he needed to get to the hospital.

According to the post, he was in a serious condition and needed someone by his side.

He wrote, “@onlyonelifetime_Please, Where Are You? I Done Call Your Number Tire I Talk Say Make Una No Dey Leave Only Me For This House,I Done Talk This Thing Like A Million Times…Not Even This Period Like This. Please Dey Come House Please Tori Olorun”

His subsequent post showed when his P.A arrived, as Oladips rushed into his car, asking Abdulrasheed to take him to the hospital. Unfortunately, the rapper lost his life as confirmed by the statement from his management.
