Legendary American singer, Brandy has collaborated with Nigerian singer, Tiwa Savage, in one of the songs in Tiwa’s newly released EP, Water and Garri.
The song titled ‘Somebody’s Son’ talks about them being optimistic that the perfect man will find them — even amidst ruins and heartbreaks — and treat them like the queens they deserve to be.
In a recent interview with Zane Lowe on Apple Music, Savage gushed about the teamup being a dream come true, saying Brandy is her idol.
“Brandy is literally the reason why I started singing, literally. As a kid, just listening to I Want To Be Down, every interview I’ve ever had, she’s my favorite, my all time, my mentor, everything. And I’ve been trying to work with her for years. It was a dream of mine,” she said.
