The relative peace has been attributed to the series of meeting that took place after the February 23rd Presidential and National Assembly elections. One of such meeting is the alleged “peace meeting” a chieftain of the NURTW, MC Oluomo had with Igbo traders in Oshodi and environs.

An observer of the meeting disclosed to BBN that the gathering was more of threat than a meeting as the traders were allegedly warned not to vote against the interests of the powers that be in the State.

It was gathered that the effect of the meeting is showing on the results currently being announced in the State as the ruling All Progressives Congress has unofficially been declared winning all seats of the State Assembly and a clear indicator the gubernatorial candidate, Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu will win the elections.
