SOB Agunbiade wins 4th term re-election in Ikorodu, Solaja also victorious 

SOB has been returned

Against all odds, the Majority Leader of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Sanai Agunbiade has been re-elected to the Assembly. 

SOB who faced tough opposition over his fourth term bid defeated Mukaila Lamina of the PDP at Saturday’s Governorship and Assembly polls.

Mr Agunbiade polled a total of 23, 488 votes to Lamina’s 11, 458 defeating the PDP flag bearer with over 12,000 votes. 

In a similar development, Hon. Nurudeen Solaja of Ikorodu Constituency 2 also defeated his challenger, Abiodun Moshood of the PDP to win his second term bid.

Solaja who is popularly known as NS polled 16, 338 while PDP’s AMA got 7, 231 votes. 

With this development, the All Progressives Congress has conveniently maintained its hold on Ikorodu following the earlier victory of Babajimi Benson at the Federal House of Representatives elections which held two weeks ago.
