Nigerian dancer and entertainer, Iweh Odinaka, popularly known as Poco Lee, has been released from custody in the United Kingdom.
The development was confirmed after social commentator VeryDarkMan (VDM) shared a video call with Poco Lee, showing the dancer speaking freely following his release.
In the video, Poco Lee said he remained confident throughout the ordeal because he knew he was innocent of the allegations against him.
The development comes after weeks of reports that the dancer was being held in the UK over five sexual offence charges, including attempted rape, two counts of rape and two counts of assault by penetration.
However, his release does not mean the criminal case has been dropped.
The Crown Prosecution Service has confirmed that the case remains active and that Poco Lee is scheduled to appear at Snaresbrook Crown Court on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, for a plea and trial preparation hearing.
Poco Lee has denied the allegations and has not been convicted of any offence.
