Nigerian singer Peter Okoye, popularly known as Mr P, has celebrated a surge in orders for his fashion brand, Zipp Republic, amid his ongoing public rivalry with his twin brother and former music partner, Paul Okoye.
Peter shared the development on his X account, expressing surprise at the overwhelming response to the brand’s red ZR caps.
According to the singer, almost 3,000 red ZR caps were sold within seven days, with more orders continuing to come in.
“We honestly didn’t see this coming,” Peter wrote while thanking customers for the massive support.
He added that the company was currently overwhelmed by the volume of orders and appealed to customers to be patient while deliveries were being processed.
Peter also hinted that Zipp Republic plans to expand beyond caps into gym wear, sportswear and possibly clothing for children.
The development comes amid the long-running fallout between Peter and Paul Okoye, who previously performed together as the celebrated music duo P-Square.
The brothers have remained largely separate in their careers since their latest split, with both pursuing individual projects and business interests.
Peter’s latest post suggests that his fashion venture is gaining traction independently, as he continues to build his brand outside music.
