By Death has once again hit the Nigerian entertainment industry following the demise of another veteran actor, John Adewunmi, popularly known as Tafa Oloyede who was aged 69.
Confirming the development, the Osun State Secretary of the Theater Arts and Motion Picture Producers Association of Nigeria, Ademola Oyedokun disclosed that the actor breathed his last on Tuesday at his Osogbo residence.
Details about the actual cause of his death are still sketchy at the time of filing this report.
Oloyede who had his tutelage under late Oyin Adejobi, in the course of his acting career, featured in a number of movies such as ‘Jaiyesimi’, ‘Ayanmo’, ‘Ekuro Oloja’, ‘Orogun’, and ‘Akanji Oniposi’ which brought him to prominence.
The Nollywood veteran is survived by his wife and many children.
