By Senator Esther Nenadi Usman, Director of Finance for former President Goodluck Jonathan’s Presidential Campaign Organisation, has indicted ex-Minister of Petroleum, Diezani Allison Madueke in the ongoing probe of Arms purchase fund allegedly siphoned by former National Security Adviser (NSA).
While being interrogated by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Wednesday, Mrs. Usman said, “N23 billion was meant to be distributed to the PDP faithful to sway the result of the 2015 presidential election in favour of PDP’s presidential candidate. I did not know that the money I was asked to share to PDP bigwigs came from the National treasury, the list and the formula for sharing the cash was given to me by Diezani and there was no way I could have refused to do the job because I was a loyal party official”.
She admitted to taking instructions from Diezani on how to share the cash meant for the six states in the Northeast states of Gombe, Borno, Taraba, Adamawa, Bauchi and Yobe.
