Nigeria’s Dream Team Set To Leave Atlanta This Morning

After several delays, Nigeria’s Dream Team V are all set to leave for Manaus, Brazil for their Rio Olympics opening on Friday. This is coming as a last resort after multiple change in flight plans.

The team’s flight which was earlier scheduled to leave Georgia on Friday was postponed till Monday, then Tuesday, and finally Wednesday.

It was bad news as the team’s media aide announced that the booked flight was too small to carry the players. The players had to shuttle back to their hotel.

72 years old Timi Ebiakagboro is really having tough time having to explain every skirmishes been suffered by the team.

He said the players complained about the small flight to the Federal Government, which made the decision of booking another flight comfy enough for the trip.

He said the new flight is all vip, which will make the players be attended to by medical team while on board to stay afresh on arrival in Manaus, Brazil.

The new time of departure for the players is now 7am and expected to land by 2pm, been a five hours trip.

They are set to play Japan in their Olympics opener on Friday.
