Nigeria’s Kelechi Iheanacho emerges most expensive Nigerian player as he moves to Leicester from Man City
Multiple reports confirm that Nigeria star, Kelechi Iheanacho has completed a £25million move from too EPL side, Manchester City to 2015 champions, Leicester City.
This makes him the most expensive Nigerian player coming only second in Africa behind Egypt’s Mohammed Salah who moved to Liverpool from Italian side, on a £34.4million.
Kelechi is displacing Odion Ighalo who was formally the most expensive Nigerian player after moving to Chinese club, Changchun Yatai on a £20 fee.
Iheanacho who scored a total of 26 goals for Manchester City will make it the third Nigerian in the Leicester lineup. He will be joining Ahmed Musa and Wilfred Ndidi.
