Nigerian women have been said to be the cause of their non-inclusion in political processes. This assertion was made by Honourable Adedamola Richard Kasunmu, a member of the Lagos State House of Assembly who represents Ikeja 2 Constituency. He was speaking at a Youth Policy Dialogue in Lagos.
Hon. Kasunmu who is the Chairman of LAHA committee on Youth and Social Development disclosed  that females have continually pushed themselves to the background by not getting adequately involved. He therefore urged females especially the young ones to participate more in politics as that is the only way they will be duly represented in the scheme of things.
Kasunmu further sent a message to the youths in general stating categorically that education is key and young people should seek education and get proper orientation in other not to turn the #NotTooYoungToRun campaign into a futile effort.
