Brazil international, Gabriel Jesus has joined Premier League rival Arsenal for a fee of £45 million, according to reports from transfer analyst, Fabrizio Romano.
Romano revealed that the 25-year-old will pen a five-year deal to seal his move to Emirates Stadium.
“Gabriel Jesus to Arsenal, here we go! Personal terms fully agreed with his agent Marcelo Pettinati and his two partners. Gabriel signs until 2027, it’s 100% done. #AFC,” he tweeted on Sunday.

Jesus has received a lot of attention as a potential transfer to the Emirates Stadium after Mikel Arteta named the Brazil international as his top priority to take Alexandre Lacazette’s and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s place.
Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea, two London rivals, were also reportedly interested in signing Jesus, but according to multiple reports, Arsenal has won the battle for the signature of the Brazilian ace.
According to both sources, the Gunners and Man City have reached an agreement on a £45 million transfer fee, and every necessary details has been worked out about the deal’s personal aspects and the scheduling of a physical.
According to a recent source, Jesus, who has 236 appearances for the Citizens and 95 goals and 46 assists, will make around £220,000 per week at the Emirates.
Following the hirings of Erling Braut Haaland and Julian Alvarez, Jesus has long seemed the most likely candidate to depart the Etihad Stadium, and the fact that his contract is set to expire in June 2023 has further cast doubt on his long-term future with the team.
Jesus, like counterparts, has joined Marquinhos and Fabio Vieira as Arsenal’s third summer additions, while Raphinha, of Leeds United, might become their fourth if the Gunners make an improved bid for the winger.
