By Just Money Makes One Politician In Nigeria, Superstar Davido Reveals
As the countdown to Nigeria’s general elections begin, one of the country’s best music exploit, Davido is joining the rave on micro-blogging site, Twitter to lend his voice as he declared supports for various candidates across different political parties.
It will be recalled that the superstar was the headliner during the governorship election in Osun State, where his uncle, Senator Ademola Adeleke contested as he went all out through out the electioneering to show his support.
His acts then was criticised by social media commentators who argued that he should only face entertainment and leave politics for politicians. Reacting to such comments, Davido moments ago stated that the only thing that makes a politician in Nigeria is money.
While maintaining that he has right to voice his opinions on politics, Davido stated that he is no party member that he did all for his blood Uncle (Senator Adeleke) then and in the upcoming elections, he is supporting different candidates in various political parties.
He tweeted,
