By Sunmi Odesanya, a former member of the Lagos State House of Assembly representing Ikorodu Constituency I, has emerged as the consensus candidate for the position of Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State.
BlackBox Nigeria had reported that the Governance Advisory Council (GAC), the highest decision-making body of the Lagos APC, at an emergency meeting on Tuesday zoned the position of State Secretary to Lagos East Senatorial District.
The meeting was convened to deliberate on erstwhile Chairman, Tunde Balogun’s replacement as well as other party executives ahead of the State congress slated for Saturday.
The new party scribe, Odesanya, served as Commissioner I, Lagos State House of Assembly Service Commission between 2012 and 2017.
