Ghetto Tigers Ladies emerge champions of Oshodi Let’s Play Championship

Ghetto Tigers Ladies have emerged as the champions of the maiden edition of the Oshodi Let’s Play Championship.

The HRA Ladies defeated Wazbak Queens 12-11 in the penalty shootout after playing a 1-1 draw in regulation time.

Wazbak Queens drew the first blood of the game with a good finish from Kabira Afolabi.

Ghetto Tigers didn’t relent as their effort was rewarded with an outstanding finish from Aishat Bolarinwa in the first half.

The HRA Ladies had more chances to seal off the game but converted them.

Despite the game not finding a winner in regulation time, the game went straight to penalties shootout to decide the winner.

Ghetto Tigers showed their supremacy and penalty skills in the shootout to come top 12-11 and ultimately win the first edition of the Oshodi Let’s Play tournament in style.

Head Coach Azeez Mustapha was named Best Coach of the Championship while goalkeeper Ifeoluwa Olufemi was awarded the Best Goalkeeper Award.
