Nollywood actress and filmmaker Funke Akindele has announced her latest movie, The Four: No One Fights Alone, unveiling a star-studded cast ahead of its December cinema release.
The new film is scheduled to hit cinemas globally on December 11, 2026, through FilmOne Entertainment.
Akindele, who wrote, directed and produced the movie under her Funke Akindele Network, will lead the cast alongside Bisola Aiyeola, Chioma Akpotha and singer Waje.
Other prominent names featuring in the project include Richard Mofe-Damijo (RMD), Timini Egbuson, Lateef Adedimeji, Ali Nuhu, Uzor Arukwe, Ronke Oshodi Oke, Antar Laniyan, Wunmi Toriola and Shoday.
The cast also includes Samuel Banks, Kolapo Omotosho, Ayomide Iwasokun and former Big Brother Naija housemate Vee Adeyele.
According to details released alongside the announcement, the story centres on Esosa and three loyal women who go to great lengths to protect a young man’s future. Themes of loyalty, courage, sacrifice and family are expected to drive the narrative.
The announcement marks Akindele’s return to the December cinema season, a period in which her productions have consistently attracted strong attention from Nigerian moviegoers.
Her latest project follows the success of Behind the Scenes, which became the highest-grossing Nollywood film of 2025 and crossed the N2 billion mark at the Nigerian box office.
With an ensemble cast featuring some of Nollywood’s biggest names across film and music, anticipation is already building for The Four: No One Fights Alone ahead of its December 11 release.
