Ghazali Ibrahim
Former National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Bamanga Muhammad Tukur, has died at the age of 90.
Tukur died at his residence in Abuja on Saturday after a period of illness, according to a report citing confirmation from one of his children.
He served as PDP National Chairman from 2012 to 2014.
Tukur, a former governor of the old Gongola State, also served as Minister of Industries and held several senior positions in government and business during his career.
His death comes just days before his 91st birthday, which would have been on September 15.
