Nigerian dancer and entertainer, Iweh Pascal Odinaka, popularly known as Poco Lee, is still due to appear before a UK court on September 15, 2026, the Crown Prosecution Service has confirmed.
The CPS said the case remains active and that Odinaka is scheduled to appear at Snaresbrook Crown Court in London for a Plea and Trial Preparation Hearing (PTPH).
The clarification follows inquiries by PUNCH on Saturday over reports claiming that Poco Lee had been released from custody and that the complainant had withdrawn the case.
However, the CPS did not confirm whether the entertainer is currently in custody or has been released on bail. It also did not confirm any claim that the case had been withdrawn or settled.
A PTPH is a pre-trial hearing where the defendant’s plea and preparations for a possible trial are dealt with.
Poco Lee has not been convicted of any offence, and the allegations against him remain subject to the ongoing court process.
