Famous Bollywood Star Dies Of Heart Attack At 40

Bollywood actor, Sidharth Shukla, has died from a cardiac arrest at age 40.

The deceased, who breathed his last on Thursday, suffered a massive heart attack in the early hours of the day, according to Independent News.

He is survived by his mother and two sisters.

 

 

Shukla started off his career in the entertainment industry as a model before venturing into acting. He made his acting debut with the TV show, Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Na in 2008.

He gained fame after his performance in ‘Balika Vadhu’ on Colors TV, which boosted his acting journey into stardom. In the 2014 Bollywood movie produced by Karan Johar titled, ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya’, he starred alongside Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan.

Shukla also appeared in several reality shows, including Khatron Ke Khiladi, India’s Got Talent and Bigg Boss — the Indian version of Big Brother — which he won the 13th edition.

His last appearance on TV was in the third season of Indian drama web series, Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Broken But Beautiful’ which premiered on MX Player, a local streaming platform.

Before his death, he had announced his upcoming movie, ‘Silsila SidNaaz Ka’ with model and actress, Shehnaaz Gill.

The actor had a large social media followership especially on Twitter and Instagram. His last post on Twitter was a congratulatory message for Indian Olympic gold medalist, Neeraj Chopra.

Since the news of his passing broke out, fans all over India have been expressing shock and grief.
