In a bid to get the Lagos State University undergraduates ready for the labour market, Vice Chancellor of the institution, Professor ‘Lanre Fagbohun have introduced a new scheme which is to hire the students on a part time basis while they go about their academic activities in the campus.
The platform was created in order to provide the students the ability to earn legitimately even while they are still in school. The scheme which was planned in phases is set to commence as application for various positions have been advertised.

According to a report written by an undergraduate of the institution, Pelumi Olugbega, students are expected to submit a hand-written application letter. He also disclosed that the job scheme created by the University Management was in collaboration with the Students’ Union.
He further disclosed that openings are currently available at the University Library. Applicants are expected to address their applications to the University Librarian as they declare their interests to work on part time basis.
All applications are expected on or before Thursday 9th of March, 2017.
