A former Governor of Cross River state, Donald Duke has been reaffirmed as the presidential candidate of the Social Democratic Party.

The Federal High has last month declared that former Information Minister, Professor Jerry Gana was the right candidate but in a judgement that has just been delivered by the 3-man panel Appeal Court led by Justice Abdul Aboki, it was ruled that the application is illegal and unconstitutional and shouldn’t have been entertained by the lower court.
Donald Duke’s reemergence is coming hours after another presidential hopeful, Oby Ezekwesili of the Allied Congress Party of Nigeria pulled out of the presidential race.
