Nigerian music producer and Mavin Records founder, Don Jazzy, has opened applications for his 2027 technology scholarship programme, offering young Nigerians up to 100 per cent tuition coverage to acquire digital skills.
The scholarship, announced on Monday, October 26, 2026, covers several courses, including Artificial Intelligence and Automation, Content Creation, Data Analytics, Cybersecurity, Software Development, Digital Marketing, Product Design and Data Science.
Other available courses include Graphics Design, Virtual Assistance, Project Management, Product Management, DevOps Engineering, Frontend Development and Backend Development.
According to the programme’s website, most of the courses are beginner-friendly, meaning applicants do not need previous experience in technology to apply.
How to apply
Interested Nigerians can apply by following these steps:
- Visit the official website: Applicants should visit https://donjazzy.tsacademyonline.com/ to access the scholarship portal.
- Open the application form: Click on the “Apply for a Scholarship Now” or “Start Your Tech Journey Today” option to access the application form.
- Select a course: Choose a preferred programme from the available technology and digital skills courses, based on personal interests and career goals.
- Complete the form: Provide the required personal information and other details requested by the academy.
- Request additional support: Applicants who need a laptop or internet data should indicate this in the relevant section of the form.
- Submit the application: Review the information provided and submit the completed form for consideration.
- Check for updates: Applicants should monitor the email addresses and phone numbers supplied during registration for information about their application status.
Successful candidates will receive further instructions on their scholarship awards and enrolment.
What does the scholarship cover?
The programme offers successful applicants up to 100 per cent coverage of tuition fees, depending on the scholarship awarded.
It also provides practical training, mentorship, internship opportunities and job placement support.
In addition, 50 laptops are available for selected beneficiaries, while 500 students may receive data support. The academy says these benefits will depend on applicants’ eligibility, demonstrated needs and available resources.
However, the scholarship does not necessarily cover all expenses. Recipients will still be required to pay an application fee, although a discount is available.
Applications for the 2027 intake are currently open, according to the programme’s website, with limited slots available.
