Bolt Beaten! Justin Gatlin Of USA Chatters Usain Bolt’s Farewell Scripts At World Championships 2017
35-year-old Justin Gatlin of United States of America on Saturday tore up the farewell speech of track and field finest, Jamaica’s Usain Bolt as he stole the show at London Stadium on Saturday.
Gatlin who has been banned twice for doping won the Gold medal of the IAAF 100m with his fellow country man, Christian Coleman clinching Silver and dumped Bolt to Bronze.
It was gathered that Bolt struggled for fitness in his valedictory session and he was still considered to secure his 20th global Gold.
Gatlin ended the race at 9.92 seconds while Coleman finished at 9.94 and Bolt finished at 9.95 seconds with his Jamaican runner finishing fourth with 9.99.
It was supposed to be Gatlin’s year in 2015, when the American went to the World Championships in Beijing on the back of a 28-race unbeaten run.
Bolt produced his great miracle to beat him that night in the Bird’s Nest, but in the stadium where he won 100m Olympic gold in 2012, he could not provide the perfect ending to a perfect career.
