Nigerian-born Hollywood actor and singer, Akinosho Olurotimi, fondly called Rotimi, has welcomed his first child with Tanzanian rapper, Vanessa Mdee.
The couple announced the birth of their child on their respective Instagram pages with the caption of the baby’s name, “Seven Adeoluwa Akinosho”.
However, they did not reveal the exact date of their first child delivery.
Rotimi, who is famous for starring in the 2021 hit movie Coming To America 2, had revealed earlier in September, the gender of the baby as well as Mdee, who announced the pregnancy on Instagram.
During an exclusive interview with People.com, Mdee spoke about the pregnancy, saying, “He’s been so good to us. No real pain or symptoms. Some funny cravings and food aversions here and there. It’s been much harder in these final weeks because he’s preparing his arrival, but all in all we’ve been super blessed.”
Vanessa, 32 and Rotimi, 33 met for the first time in New Orleans at an Essence Festival after-party. The relationship was taken further when Rotimi proposed to Mdee on December 30, 2020, in Atlanta.
Rotimi Akinosho is an American actor, singer and model who is famous for his role in the Starz Series, Boss and Power.
Vanessa Hau Mdee is a Tanzanian singer, songwriter, rapper, youth activist and radio host. She is famous for being the first Tanzanian MTV VJ.
