2018 World Cup: Ahmed Musa Returns To CSKA Moscow
Super Eagles striker, Ahmed Musa on Tuesday joined his former club, CSKA after his club, Leicester City agreed to a loan till end of the 2017/18 season.
Musa’s move back to the Red Blues’ is coming after experiencing a spell at the Foxes which have denied him playing time and at a time the 2018 World Cup is drawing nearer. It will be recalled that a former Nigerian international had advised the former Kano Pillars striker a move to Moscow so as to get better playing time before the world competition in Russia.
The agreement was posted on the website of PFC CSKA as they welcomed him back to the club. The club also disclosed that he will be immediately included in the squadlist for both League and UEFA Europa League games.
“PFC CSKA and Leicester City agreed the loan of Ahmed Musa today until the end of 2017/18 season.
Ahmed will be included in the Red-Blues’ squadlist for the national league and the UEFA Europa League knockout stage.
