Ikorodu Oga Radio and TV has unveiled a seven-member judging panel for the maiden edition of Ikorodu Division’s Got Talent, as entries open for young creatives across the division.
The judges are Doyin Kukoyi, Gbemisola Duyile, John Oguntuase, Ayodele Enoch, TalkTalk, Demola Adeyemi and the founder of Ikorodu Oga Radio and TV, Peju Akinyemi.
The talent competition is part of activities marking the 10th anniversary of Ikorodu Oga Radio and TV and is designed to provide a platform for talents across Ikorodu Division to showcase their abilities.
The organisers said the competition will accommodate different forms of creative expression, giving participants an opportunity to compete beyond a single talent category.
The announcement of the judges comes as prospective contestants are being encouraged to submit their entries for the first season of the competition.
The winner is expected to receive a cash prize of ₦1 million, while other prizes will also be presented to outstanding contestants.
The competition builds on Ikorodu Oga Radio and TV’s previous talent-focused initiatives, including its You Think You Can Sing? Music Challenge, which was launched in 2017.
The latest competition expands the talent search beyond music, with the organisers positioning it as a wider platform for discovering and giving visibility to creative talents within Ikorodu Division.
Entries for Ikorodu Division’s Got Talent are currently open, with the organisers urging interested talents to submit their entries ahead of the deadline.
