Zamfara elects 31-year old as Assembly Speaker
In what appears to be the trend amongst state houses of Assembly across Nigeria, the Zamfara State House of Assembly has elected Nasiru Mu’azu Magarya, a 31-year-old as its speaker BlackBox Nigeria has gathered.
32-year-old Adebo Ogundoyin emerges Oyo Assembly Speaker
MaGarya who represents Zumi West Constituency of the state was elected unopposed by the 24 members of the assembly.
The 24-man Zamfara House of Assembly consists of 23 PDP honorables as well as a member who belongs to the National Rescue Movement.

The house also elected Musa Bawa Musa Tsafe East Constituency unopposed as the Deputy Speaker of the Assembly.
Governor Bello Mutawalle and his Deputy, Mahdi Aliyu Gusau were both on ground to witness the opening session of the house.
