Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie has reportedly lost his first son, Kambilichukwu Edochie in death.
Kambilichukwu, who had marked his 16th birthday in January, died on Thursday after playing football.
This news was confirmed by a family member who spoke in anonymity to the Vanguard revealing that Kambilichukwu died after suffering from a seizure.
The sister of May, Yul’s wife also confirmed that Kambilichukwu had read throughout the night in preparation for his exam today in school and had joined his mates in playing football after the exams when he developed a seizure and was rushed to the hospital where he died.
“After his exam in school, he joined his mates to play football and he developed a seizure and was rushed to Mother and Child Hospital. All efforts by the doctors to resuscitate him proved abortive,” she said.
Yul and his wife May have however not made an official statement regarding the death of their son at the time of filing this report.
