By Nollywood has again been thrown into mourning following the death of comic Yoruba actor, Kunle Makinde Tokunbo, popularly known as Dejo Tunfulu.
His colleague in the industry, Kunle Afod announced the passing of his funnyman via an Instagram post on Friday.
“You posted this few days ago Dejo. Haaa. This is so sad. Pressy, Tunfulu, Daddy Junior, Still can’t believe this,” Afod wrote.
However, details about the actual cause of his death are still sketchy at the time of filing this report.
The late actor is one face that many Yoruba film lovers will never forget. Dejo Tunfulu who was known for his comic character began his acting career when he featured in ‘Theatre Omode’ on Nigeria Television Authority NTA Channel 7. He would go on to become a household name in the Yoruba movie scene — featuring in a number of movies.
It would be recalled that the movie star was in the news sometime in 2016 when his teenage daughter tied the knot with her fiancé with many raising eyebrows about the age difference.
