The Yellow Telecommunication giant, MTN has announced the transient closure of all its outlets nationwide.

This was confirmed in a message from MTN broadcasted to their subscribers today.

Xenophobia: angry Nigerians set MTN office in Lugbe, Abuja ablaze

“Yello! Our shops are unavailable today, you can reach us on Twitter: @MTN180, MTN online.com/Livechat, chat on MyMTN App. For call center”, the message read.

This development follows the threats made by some Nigerians to retaliate the xenophobic attacks on Nigerian citizens in South Africa.

Blackbox Nigeria, in an earlier post, had published that an MTN office in Lugbe, Abuja, was razed down by angry Nigerians reprising the xenophobic attacks.
