Wizkid, Davido Make Headlines At MOBO Awards + Full List Of Winners

2017 has been a great Year for two of Nigeria’s Best Assets in the Music Industry; Wizkid and Davido, as both of them have won more awards than other preforming Acts…

The duo of Wizkid and Davido on Wednesday made Nigeria proud at the 22ND MOBO Awards held in Leeds, United Kingdom as they won the Best International Act and Best African Act; respectively.

FIA singer, Davido beat several other A-list African musicians to win the highly coveted the Best African Act. Other contestants in the category include; Tekno, Maleek Berry, Tiwa Savage, Wande Coal and Wizkid, who won same award in the 2016 edition of MOBO Awards.

Wizkid on th3 other hand contested with the like of DJ Khaled, Jay Z, Drake, Kendrick Lamar, Migos, Solange Knowles, Cardi B, Travis Scott and SZA to win the Best International Act.

UK act, Stormzy took the centre stage at the award ceremony as he carted home three awards from five nominations. The charismatic grime MC scoops the BestMale Artist, Best Grime Act and Best Album for his chart topping Gang Signs & Prayer.
