Why Nigerians Blasted Olamide Over #OLIC4
The 2017 edition of the popular Olamide Live In Concert (OLIC) took a new twist on Sunday when fans already planning to be at the event discovered an operative of the Special Anti RObbery Squad (SARS) will also be performing at the event.
Findings by BlackBox Nigeria revealed that OLIC4 which was in conjuction with Lagos State Government and which held at the State-owned Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere received backlash on Sunday after it dawned on the music lovers that YomiSARS will be performing at the event. His inclusion was not welcomed particularly because of the still trending #EndSARS campaign which has remained dominant on social media for several days.
Reacting to the backlash, OLIC organisers however tried saving their face following the outcry as they claimed the controversial Police Officer, YomiSars wasn’t billed to perform but Yomi Sax.
Diggings by BBN however revealed that YomiSARS was indeed billed and announced to perform at the show and in fact, was at the venue of the show on Sunday, December 17th.
The headliner of the show, Olamide had on Saturday uploaded a banner which included the picture of Yomi. The banner is same with which he used to introduce other artists billed to perform at the show.

Fresh updates however has it that though YomiSARS was at the stadium, venue for OLIC4, but he was never allowed to perform through out the event.
