West Ham Sacks Bilic, Ready To Sign Moyes As New Manager
West Ham United has sacked Slaven Bilic as the club continues to fall in the Premier League table after Saturday loss at Liverpool. The defeat, 4-1 makes it three in a row.
A statement by the club disclosed that a change was necessary to move forward positively as it was not in the club’s ambition to be on 18th position.
Also, West Ham say Bilic’s coaching assistants Nikola Jurcevic, Edin Terzic, Julian Dicks and Miljenko Rak have also left the club with immediate effect.
“The club’s search for a new manager to take West Ham United forward is under way and an announcement regarding Bilic’s successor is expected to be made over the coming days,” added the statement.
Already, former Everton and Manchester United manager, David Moyes have been heavily linked to replace Bilic at the London club.
This development is coming days after Moyes revealed that he was ready to come back to football management while he was commenting as a pundit.
According to SkySPorts, West Ham is likely to unveil Moyes as it’s temporary manager.
Since the beginning of the 2017/18 season, West Ham have won two matches loosing three in a row, this has dropped them in the relegation zone. Should Moyes be hired as new Manager, his first match will be against Watford on November 19th.
