By Video Of Buhari Parading Aso Villa Emerges As He Receives Health Minister And NCDC DG
A clip has emerged online showing President Muhammadu Buhari in Aso Rock. The clip is coming in the wake of speculation that the president has been flown out of the country.
In the video clip was President Buhari having a briefing from Health Minister, Dr Anthony Ehanire and the Director General of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, Dr Chikwe Ihekweazu.
There was a wide spread of rumour during the week that the President might have been flown abroad due to deterioration of his health after his Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari tested positive to the viral disease. It was rumoured that Buhari too might have been infected and health status shielded from Nigerians. Several persons has since been requesting for a live broadcast.
It was reported that the heads of Ministry and parastatal had gone to give situation report on the latest regarding the corona virus. It will be recalled that as at late Friday, 27th March, the NCDC has confirmed 81 cases of persons infected with COVID19, while active cases stay at 77, 3 persons has been discharged and 1 death recorded so far.
